Rijiju to launch PM's insurance schemes

Itagar, May 8: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju will launch three universal social security schemes here on Saturday.The Minister would launch the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yoj, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yoj and Atal Pension Yoja on the day along with rest of the country.Prime Minister rendra Modi would launch the schemes in West Bengal, a party communiqué said here today.The insurance schemes are for every citizen of India, however the way the schemes are designed would surely bring insurance to those who could not get insured, the poor deprived Indians.  Under PMSBY by paying just Rs 1 per month an insurer can avail accident insurance worth Rs 2 lakhs while under PMJJBY by paying Rs 330 per annum one can get life insurance worth Rs 2 lakhs.The Atal Pension Yoj has assured monthly pension of Rs 1000 up to Rs 5000 per month after the age of 60 years.Rijiju would also address a public meeting at msai and would launch Maha Sampark Abhyan in the state along with state unit president Tai Tagak and Opposition Leader Tamiyo Taga, the communiqué added.
