Rijiju-Tuki launch PM schemes in Aruchal

Itagar, May 9: Three ambitious social security schemes, conceptualized by Prime Minister rendra Modi were simultaneously launched in Aruchal Pradesh Saturday evening in presence of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister bam Tuki at a glittering function here.The NDA government in its 2015-16 Budget announced the schemes including Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yoj, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yoj and Atal Pension Yoja.The insurance schemes are for every citizen of India, however the way the schemes are designed would surely bring insurance to those who could not get insured, the poor deprived Indians.Under PMSBY by paying just Rs 1 per month an insurer can avail accident insurance worth Rs 2 lakhs while under PMJJBY by paying Rs 330 per annum one can get life insurance worth Rs 2 lakhs.The Atal Pension Yoj has assured monthly pension of Rs 1000 up to Rs 5000 per month after the age of 60 years.Terming the occasion as historic, Rijiju said that the schemes would bring a sea change in the life of the aam aadmi and would cover the deprived sections of the society.“Despite 69 years of Independence, a major chunk of the people in the country are still deprived of the basic minimum needs and these social security scheme will help them to come into the mainstream and  will get security,” Rijiju pointed out.

He called upon the bankers to strictly implement the schemes with through monitoring and urged them to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the people in far-flung and iccessible areas of the state.Chief Minister bam Tuki while expressing his gratitude to the PM said that the schemes would immensely benefit the poor and working class.While appealing the people to take full advantage of the schemes for their security, Tuki asked the bankers judiciously implement the schemes without any lacue.Earlier on the day, Rijiju accompanied by BJP state unit president Tai Tagak and Opposition Leader in the state assembly Tamiyo Taga launched the second phase of ‘Maha Sampark Abhiyaan’ and first phase of ‘Maha Sadashyata Abhiyaan’ at msai district.The objective of the programme is to reach out persolly to the members door to door and motivate them to work for the party and tion as a whole.“‘No politics while working for the tion but needs audit for all the works”, Rijiju said while addressing the people.He also elaborated on the central government’s policy of giving 100 percent works to the local contractors only and to encourage small contractors by giving 10 percent fund as advance against the scheme.
