DIBGOI, July 1: In a tragic road mishap that occurred on Saturday evening on NH-38 near Tingrai under Digboi Police Station, a person riding a bicycle, identified as Kartik Tanti (40), breathed his last after he was hit by a four-wheeler coming from the opposite direction. The erring vehicle coming from Tinsukia hit the victim who was heading towards his home at Nazirating. The victim was immediately rushed to Tinsukia Civil Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries later in the evening.
