Road mishap kills two

Dibrugarh, April 4:  Two medical students of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) died on the spot in a fierce road accident on Tuesday at around 5:30 am. The two students, Bhargav Saikia (4th year) from Khowang, and James K. Gao Hao Shittal (3rd year) from Haflong, Dima Hasao, were returning from the former’s house at Khowang to AMCH on a KTM Duke bike when the two-wheeler got involved in a head-on collision with a Bolero bearing registration number NL-04T-2020 in front of BCPL. The passengers of the Bolero were also critically injured, and were undergoing treatment at AMCH till the time of filing the report.

Earlier, after the mishap, the bodies of the deceased were brought to AMCH after which the day’s classes were cancelled. A condolence meet was also organized to pray for the departed souls.
