Road problems irk Path Suraksha Samiti

Jorhat, March 9: The Path Suraksha Samiti of Jorhat has alleged that around 22 people were killed in road mishaps caused because of the problems in the road connecting Jorhat and Mariani. At a press meet held e at Jorhat Press Club on Monday, joint secretary Sanjay Krish Tati said that even though the district administration promised them to take steps to tackle the road problems, no steps had been taken so far. Hence the Samiti would be forced to start protests within a week if no steps were taken.
