Road Safety Week observed in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, January 12: Along with the rest of the State, the Kokrajhar district administration also observed the 27th Road Safety Week, 2016 in Kokrajhar town since January 10.

The Deputy Commissioner, Kokrajhar, MP Sharma flagged off the road safety vehicle rally. Hundreds of private vehicles in Kokrajhar town took part in the rally. The rally started from JD road near Indian Oil.

Liladhar Thakuriya, DTO, urged the common public to introspect and help the authorities concerned to ensure that traffic rules were obeyed.

Denesh Boro, Joint Secretary of department, BTC, among other host dignitaries were present in the function.
