DEMOW, April 13: The air of Demow is reverberating with the sound of the dhol, pepa and gagana clubbed together with the sonorous sound of the cuckoo. The people of Demow are geared up to celebrate Rongali Bihu from Saturday and on Friday people thronged the markets to buy new clothes as well as Bihu food items. Mukoli Bihu, Jeng Bihu as well as egg-fight competition will be held on April 15 in Demow and its surrounding areas.
