Rongali Bihu programme at Golaghat from April 28

GOLAGHAT, APRIL 25: The 54th Golaghat Kendriya Rangali Bihu programme will be held from April 28 with a three-day programme at Golaghat public playground here. As per programme , the event will be started with the hoisting of flag by organizing committee president Pur Rajkhowa which will be followed by shwahid  tarpan. Monowar Hussain and Parikshit Dutta , general secretary of the organizing committee will offer shwahid  tarpan.  As a part of the event , a colorful cultural procession will also be taken out. Golaghat Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anowarul Haque will iugurate the procession.

On the concluding day of the celebration, prize distribution ceremony will be held. The Dhansiri Upatyaka Bota will be presented to writer , jourlist Keshab Saikia in the programme. Satriya dance exponent Jatin Goswami, newly elected president of AASU Lurinjyoti Gogoi and Ashok Kumar Sepati , Deputy General Mager of NRL will be attended as guest of honour in the event.  

Popular singer Angarag Mahanta will perform in the cultural nite while noted dramatist, film director Munin Baruah will iugurate the cultural evening.
