Rongali Bihu Sanmilan concludes in Demow

DEMOW, May 3: Under the patroge of different local organizations of Demow and with the help of the people of Demow, the Rongali Bihu Sanmillan concluded in Demow recently.

In the Husori competition, the Charaideo Husori Team got the first prize and the Rongmon Ajari and Bordoisila Husori Team got the second prize. In the drawing competition, in Group-A Bagmita Dutta got the first prize, Tanushree Gogoi got the second prize and Priyashi Hazarika got the third prize. In Group-B, Porokh Pratim Sonowal got the first prize, Bhargav Gogoi got the second prize, and Dhiraj Kaushik Gogoi got the third prize. In Gabharu Bihu competition, Lengeri Chaodang Gabharu Husori Team got the first prize, Saptarti Jeng Bihu Team got the second prize, and Sori Suru Phul Jeng Bihu Team got the third prize. In the Bihu Dance competition, Bonyani Gogoi got the first prize, Arli Begum got the second prize, and Samikhya Buragohain got the third prize. In the dhol badan competition, Darshan Dutta got the first prize and barun Borah got the second prize. In the Bihuwati competition, the judges gave special prize to Rajashree th. Gautam Hira, a resident of Sarugua, presented a magic show. The cultural night was iugurated by Kushal Dowari, former MLA of Thowra constituency where popular singers Nil Akash and Suman Barua performed.
