Ronghang directs completion of half-done irrigation projects

HOWRAGHAT, March 30:  The CEM of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang directed the Department of Irrigation on Monday to complete the ongoing irrigation projects and half-done works under Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) at the earliest. Ronghang announced to inspect the completed and ongoing works of the Department at the field level from April 3 to April 7. As per programme set by the KAAC CEM, he will be accompanied by the Principal Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and others officials on the visit to Hamren Subdivision which will start from April 3. According to an official release, Ronghang along with the district administration will visit Kheroni Irrigation Subdivision t on April 3 and Diphu Subdivision on April 4. On April 6, Ronghang along with his team will visit Horguty Irrigation Subdivision.  On April 8 the CEM will hold a detailed review meeting with the Irrigation Departmental officials at the KAAC Conference Hall.
