RSS and SBP build houses for riot-affected families in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, June 14: Seva Bharati Purbanchal (SBP), a non-governmental organization, in collaboration with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), set up a total of 32 houses for riot-affected Adivasi families at Bhawraguri, Jharbari in Kokrajhar district.

The Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar, MP Sharma iugurated a newly-established temple at Bhawraguri in Jhrabari along with houses constructed for the riot-affected families on Tuesday.

Talking to media persons, Vashista Bojor Baruah, Uttar Assam Pranta Prasarok of the RSS, said that they had been working in riot-affected and disturbed areas along with Bharati Purbanchal across the country. He said that they had selected some riots-affected areas and provided fincial help to construct 32 houses for homeless families at Jharbari in Kokrajhar district. A Kisku, a beneficiary, expressed joy on getting a house to live in. He thanked the RSS and SBP for helping the poor families rendered homeless in the riots.
