'Run for Vote' creates awareness among voters in Biswanath Chariali

Biswanath Chariali: Ahead of the Lok Sabha election, a community run programme entitled 'Run for Vote' was held on Sunday at Biswanath Chariali under the aegis of Biswanath district administration in order to create awareness among the voters on the importance of taking part in the voting process and also to attract the young voters. The programme was flagged off by Pabitra Ram Khaound, Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath district, near the Clock Tower and it ended at Kachari Maidan. The personnel of 24 Assam Rifles, Balipukhuri and Biswanath Chariali Police reserve, Biswanath College NCC team, students of local colleges, NGOs, government employees, scribes and local people participated in the programme.
