Sabian Mushahary's arrest is a huge setback for NDFB (S): Chirang SP

Bongaigaon, June 9: Following arrest of NDFB (S) cadre Sabian Mushahary alias Adam (27), son of Soren Mochahary, a resident of village Sopur, Lalai, under Amguri PS by Chirang Police, under the leadership of SP, Chirang, from Amteka area under Amguri PS and subsequent interrogation of the arrested cadre, it has come to light that the arrest has been a huge setback for NDFB (S).

Talking to media persons, Sankar Brata Rai Medhi, Superintendent of Police of Chirang, said that Sabian was back from Banglore to re-organize the activities of the outfit in Chirang district. “During 2015, he acted as an aide of Bidei and organized over ground workers for carrying out illegal and subversive activities in Chirang district. After the police encounters with some top-level cadres, including Ringsar alias Gaitha, in which he had a rrow escape and fled to Aruchal Pradesh and thereafter to Banglore for shelter. Active investigation is on and more details will follow,” the SP said.

It should be mentioned that Sabian was bbed by Chirang district police on 8th June from Amteka area uner Amguri PS of Chirang district. Sankar Brata Rai Medhi, SP, CHirang ha himself leaded the police operation which resulted recovery of a hand grede.
