Safety awareness camp held at Haibargaon

Maligaon,June 1 : Safety Organisation of Lumding Division organized a safety awareness campaign at the Haibargaon station in the gaon district of Assam on 30th May, 2015. All the staff of Haibargaon station along with Scouts & Guides team had participated the awareness campaign. A street drama was also staged at an un-manned level crossing gate near Haibargaon station. The drama was enjoyed by a huge group of people. Awareness related leaflets, handbills, pamphlets etc. were distributed amongst local people and road users. The main aim of the campaign was to create awareness amongst road users so that loss of lives due to accidents at manned and un-manned level crossing gates can be avoided.
