Saffron organizations decry killing of RSS-BJP workers

From Our Correspondent

Silchar, March 1: “Politics should be only practised by people who are humane and civilized. Persons who go on killing people in the me of petty party politics, should not be allowed to practice it,” said Atin Das, poet and renowned jourlist, addressing a large gathering assembled before the statue of Khudiram Bose at Park Road of this town today. Lok Jagoran Mancha and other Right wing bodies organizations demonstrated against the CPI (M) led LDF Government in Kerala and held it responsible for merciless killing of many workers of these organizations. The incidents of violence, bloodshed and murders in Kerala for the past many years have crossed all limits during the recent times.

Atin Das further said that Communists would never be able to unite the country as they themselves have so many flags and divisions within their party. “They are on a killing spree. They have been targeting poor and old men, women and children. The history of Communism in Soviet Russia has been full of gory and horrific deaths. Mass killing and Communism are synonymous terms. They do not hesitate to bathe in the blood of innocent people. There are many such instances of their mercilessness,” he added to say. He also said that politics of bloodshed would not be borne by the people of this country.

Partha Sarathi Chanda, educationist and former principal, Gurucharan College, Silchar, said, “Ferocious persons will never be able to recoil from their ferocity even they are kept in cages. When parties and people resort to violence and killings of this sort, it reflects how coward they are. The history of Communism is full of blood and violence. They have lost their soul.” Dharmanda Deb, advocate condemned the attacks on the RSS and BJP workers. It should be mentioned here that hundreds of workers have been killed in Kerala last year after the Communist Government came to power.

They have also submitted a memorandum to the President of India, Prab Mukherjee, through the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, S Viswathan, IAS, for taking immediate steps against the state sponsored recurring and extremely cruel, heinous, planned political murders of innocent RSS-BJP workers across the state of Kerala. It has been stated in the memorandum that the situation in Kerala has worsened ever since the LDF with Chief Minister Pirayi Vijayan has taken up the reins of the power in the state. It is also very unfortute that the Chief Minister, who also holds the home affairs in Kerala, has been quite surprisingly indifferent to the unprovoked violence and merciless brutal human slaughters in spite of reported urgings from RSS-BJP leaderships of Kerala.

It has been stated in the memorandum that how the CPM workers to create an atmosphere of horror since last Assembly Election have turned the heaven of peace and tranquility worse than a hell by brutally killing RSS-BJP workers particularly in Kannur district in broad daylight with open swords and daggers, and even putting them in burning fire with sole agenda of burning all socio-political rivals. The recent killings have claimed lives of one RSS and BJP workers including one woman.
