Saha happy with ton, says it's a milestone

Hyderabad, Feb 10: Wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha on Friday said it was a big milestone for him to rack up his second ton in his 20-odd Test cricket career so far for India. "It is obviously a big milestone for someone who has played 20-22 Tests for India," Saha told reporters after second day's play.

"Sanjay (Bangar, batting coach) bhai told me to play with a straight bat and whenever you are batting with Virat (Kohli) he always encourages you to play your tural game," the Bengal stumper said.

Coming on the back of an unbeaten double century (203*) in the Irani Trophy fil, where Saha was also adjudged the Man-of-the-Match, Saha was seen playing more number of lofted shots to put pressure on the opposition.

"This was more challenging from the Irani cup fil as that was domestic level and this is an intertiol match," said Saha, whose innings was laced with seven fours and two sixes. IANS
