Sahil receives award from President

GUWAHATI, Nov 14: Former Asian U-8 Silver Medalist and tiol U-7 and U-9 Chess Champion Shahil Dey of Assam received tiol Child Award for Exceptiol Achievement 2017 from

President Ram th Kovind. The function was held at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi today. The award includes a Silver Medal, Certificate and citation, cash of Rs 10,000 and book voucher worth Rs 3000.

Assam Chess Club congratulates Sahil for this achievement. In a release the association said,“This is a great moment of pride and joy for the chess fraternity of Assam. We take this opportunity to congratulate Shahil for bring pride to the state of Assam through his performance in chess.”
