Sahitya Akademi nomites Khemraj Nepal as member

Biswath Chariali, April 7: The Advisory Board for Nepali language, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, has nomited Khemraj Nepal, noted Nepali scholar and author and also a retired subject teacher in Sanskrit from Chariali Higher Secondary and Multi-Purpose School, Biswath Chariali as a member of the Akademi.
 The executive board of the Sahitya Akademi, India’s premier literary institution promoting literature in 24 Indian languages recognized by it, approved the nomition of Nepal’s membership in its meeting. He was informed on Friday by the Akademi vide letter no SA 2/ABM/45044. He has authored 10 books in Assamese and Nepali so far. Besides, Nepal edited more than 20 jourls in Assamese, Hindi and Nepali languages. A resident of Balipukhuri village here, Nepal is also a member of the Dictiory Compilation Committee formed by the Government of Assam.
