Sahitya Divas observed

Golaghat , March 27: Golaghat Sakha Xahitya Xabha on Sunday observed Sahitya Divas at Hemchandra Goswami Smriti Bhavan in Golaghat.   A meeting was held on the occasion which was presided over by Sakha Xahitya Xabha president Arun Chandra Bordoloi. Lighting of lamp before the portrait of Sahityarathi Lakshmi th Bezbaruah, in whose memory this day is observed, was done by veteran citizens Puram Baruah and Apurba Kumar Baruah. In the meeting a speech on Bezbaruah's writings and language was delivered by Assistant Professor Sunil Handique from HPB Girls' College Golaghat. Several books were unveiled on the occasion.
