Sal logs seized

KOKRAJHAR, June 30: A total of 26 Sal timber logs were seized at Gongia River at Balanga bazaar on Thursday morning under Dotma PS in Kokrajhar district. According to sources, the timber logs were seized following forest department officials and local people’s jointly initiated steps against smuggling under the direction of Forest Minister Pramila Rani Brahma. The market value of the seized timber is over Rs 2 lakh.
