Through the public meeting, the Minority Cell of Salakati Block BPF was formed with 41 members and Hasmat Ali as president. Other members are Ayl Hogue, vice-president, and Harsad Ali, general secretary of the cell.
Allauddin Ali, president of BPF Minority Cell central committee, said in his speech that Hagrama Mohilary, the chief of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), who is also the president of Bodoland People’s Front (BPF), was working for development of all people of the region. He said the religious minority community needed to extend support to him for better development for all communities living in BTC region.
