Itagar, May 14: The Aruchal Pradesh government has disbursed 238 crore towards payment of salaries, wages, pension and GPF of the government employees till May 12 last besides releasing an amount of Rs 2.88 crore towards post matric scholarship of Aruchalee students studying outside the state. “The Budget of the central government has been passed. The receipts under CSS will commence soon and it will help to improve the cash balance position of the state,” Fince secretary Daulat Hawaldar said in a communiqué. The statement of the secretary came in the wake of hue and cry over alleged fincial crisis in the state which compelled several organizations to launch mass movement in recent time.Hawaldar informed that the consolidated sinking fund of the state was constituted in the year 1999-2000 and the state has invested 169.90 crores in it.
