Salbari Club lift Inter Club soccer meet

KOKRAJHAR, Aug 28: Salbari Club under Aflagaon Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) on Sunday lifted the championship trophy of 8th Inter Club Football Championship, organized by Aflagaon VCDC at South Aflagaon playground defeating Bhadiaguri Club 2-0 in the fil.

The Minister of Forest and WPT&BC Pramila Rani Brahma gave away the championship trophy along with cash prize while the president of Afalgaon Primary VCDC-Bhadrasing rzary gave away the runners up trophy and cash prize.

Earlier, Minister Brahma introduced with the players and released the bunch of balloons for peace. She said Bodos have many tiol and intertiol football players who have already brought fame to the state and the region as whole. She said Aflagaon area had lots of talents in the sporting events and people of that region love sports very much and they whole heartedly come to see the sporting events with great enthusiasm. She also said that the sporting was very important part of human resources and the new generation should concentrate on the sports that also provides livelihood.
