Samajik Chet Abhiyan organised in Indo-Bhutan border

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 13:  The 16th Bn.SSB, Ranighuli organized a medical civic action programe along with Samajik Chet Abhayan under perception magement for the welfare of population of border areas in Ultapani area near Indo-Bhutan border of Kokrajhar district recently.

During the civic action programe the medical team of this unit treated 325 persons including 189 males, 108 females and 28 children from various remote villages of Ultapani and its adjoining areas. Several notebooks, pen and pencils were distributed to more over 100 needy students by A.K.C. Singh, Commandant of the 16th Bn.SSB. Besides, various cultural programme, dance and songs were presented by the different communities as well as by the cultural party of SSB 16th Bn of the SSB.

Free water supply for villagers of Bangaon, Sopur was started by 16th Bn.SSB on the same date where more than 200 villagers would be benefitted.
