GUWAHATI, Feb 24: 2nd Samarendra Rajkumar Veteran’s Tennis Tourment got under way at Jorhat today. The tourment was iugurated by Palit Kumar Bora, the chairman of the Assam State Agricultural marketing Board. The iugural function was also attended by the president and the secretary of the All Assam Tennis Association Raktim Saikia and Ankush Dutta respectively. Players from Guwahati, Haflong, Bokakhat, NRL, Golaghat, Sibsagar, Dibrugarh and Duliajan are taking part in the tourment in +35 Doubles, +45 Doubles, and +55 Doubles categories. The oldest among them is 82 years old Bijoy Kumar Sonowal from Dibrugarh.
