San Lorenzo rally to beat Danubio 2-1 in Copa Libertadores

Montevideo, Feb 20 : Defending champions San Lorenzo scored twice in the last five minutes to clinch a dramatic 2-1 victory over Uruguay's Danubio in their opening Copa Libertadores group match here. Matias Castro's 11th minute strike looked set to hand the hosts a memorable victory at the Estadio Centerio on Thursday. But Mauro Matos' low finish drew the Argentine outfit level before Mauro Cetto thumped in an angled header with two minutes left.

In other matches Thursday, Colombia's Atletico ciol drew 2-2 against Paraguay's Libertad and Bolivia's San Jose won 2-0 at home over Argenti's River Plate.

The tourment is organised by South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). IANS
