Sanction letters distributed to tea garden workers

Golaghat (Dhekial), Jan 12: As part of the Chah Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Mela, 2018 fortnight, the Golaghat district administration distributed 220 sanction letters to tea garden workers of 22 tea gardens under Sarupathar LAC at a ceremonial function held at Murphulani Tea Estate on Thursday. MLA of Sarupathar LAC, Roseli Tirkey distributed the sanction letters to 10 workers each from the 22 tea gardens for payment of the first installment of incentives amounting to Rs 2,500 under this scheme.

Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Bothra, SDO (Sadar) M Kutum, Lead District Mager, Probin Sonowal, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Budhen Hazarika, representatives of TAI, NETA and tea garden magement and other dignitaries were also present at the function.
