Sand-laden truck held

Batadrava, Oct 10: Forest officials of Kampur in the gaon district on Tuesday detained a truck bearing registration no. AS 21 C 1256  for illegally carrying river sand. The forest officials, in the process of checking the documents, found that the sand was being transported without valid documents. Illegal lifting of sand from Kapili river in Kampur has increased ubated in connivance with forest officials.
