Sangeet Mahavidyalaya to organize drawing competition

Silchar, June 16: Sur Sagar at Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, head office, Rongpur will organize a drawing competition from 8 am onwards on June 26. Students upto VIth standard will have to draw a half portrait of either the rebel poet Kazi zrul Islam or Nobel Laureate Rabindrath Tagore. It has been informed that participants studying in the VIIth standard to XIIth standard will have to draw a full portrait of either of the two poets. Participants will be allowed to use watercolour, oil paints and even sketch pencils for the purpose. It should be mentioned here that floral tribute and celebration would also take place after the competition.
