Sangma hails Centre's assistance

SHILLONG, May 27: Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma solicited the Union Government’s assistance to boost Meghalaya’s endeavour to make the state a wanted destition.  Speaking at programme organised for the reception of Prime Minister rendra Modi at Polo Ground here on Friday, Sangma said, “Our state has re-strategized the programmes to transform the State a most sought after destition in the region”. “We have programmes and agendas to befit the investment programmes and we have been leveraging on programmes to create a strong capital,” he stated in the presence of the Prime Minister.   “We look forward to the co-operation from central government in our endeavour,” he said.   Viewing Shillong as a place that host the on-line iuguration of four important projects, the Chief Minister also hoped that the state will be a ground for launching of all such developmental programmes.
