'Sankardev built strong bond of love among people'

KOKRAJHAR, September 23:  The 567th Birth anniversary of Srimanta Sankardev was observed along with the rest of the State at Kokrajhar amghar on Wednesday. The programme was started with am prasanga. A peace rally was also brought out in Kokrajhar town.

 The secretary of Sankardev amghar, Kokrajhar, yanjyoti Das said that Srimanta Sankardev brought new reformation in Assam through his teachings and established peace among all sections of people in the State. He also said that Sankardev built a strong bond of love and integrity among the people of Assam. The programme included am, borgeet and bhao.
