Sanmilita Jagustiya Aikyamancha candidate submits nomition

KALAIGAON March 25: On Wednesday, Shyamal Sarkar, a candidate of Sanmilita Jagustiya Aikyamancha submitted his nomition paper for the upcoming BTC polls at Bhergaon Sadar Subdivision for No. 35 Mudoibari Territorial Constituency. Saiyad Sahabuddin Ali Ahmed, cocoorditor of Sanmilita Jagustiya Aikyamancha and Mantu Dey, the president of BTC Bengali Youth Federation along with 5,000 supporters were present when he submitted the nomition paper to the SDO (C) of Bhergaon Subdivision. Saiyad Sahabuddin Ali Ahmed and Mantu Dey addressed a press meet on Wednesday on behalf of their candidate Shyamal Sarkar and said that contesting in the election was the first stage of protest against the alleged large-scale corruption of the ruling BPF party. Ten other candidates from BJP, Congress, AGP and BPF, along with independent candidates, also submitted their nomition papers today.
