Sanskrit Book on Damordeva released in Udalguri

UDALGURI: At a function held at Udalguri Sahitya Sabha Bhavan, a book on Damodardeva in Sanskrit, authored by Sanskrit scholar Bidyapati Dahal, was released by Bimal Bhak at the Saranacharya of Srimanta Sankardeva Xatra, . On the other hand, another book titled Jivanar Saneki, written by renowned writer Tarapati Upadhyaya was released by Nareswar Deka, the national award-winning retired teacher.

The meeting was presided over by Gautam Jyoti Talukdar, the president of Udalguri Sahitya Sabha, and the meeting was conducted by Dwijen Bayan, the general secretary of the Sahitya Sabha. Tarapati Upadhyaya in his speech said that the biographies of leading personalities were of great importance for the upcoming generation.
