Sanskrit training camp

UDALGURI, May 26: The 10-day long Sanskrit Sambhasa camp at 5 No Dhansiri village in Rowta concluded on Tuesday.

 Tapan Rajbonsi, teacher of Rastriya Sanskrit Sansthan, conducted the Sanskrit speaking camp with the active cooperation of Uma Maheswar Sanskrit Vidyalaya. The local school students and also village adults took part in this camp.

The concluding ceremony began with lighting of the lamp by Gopi Bahadur Chhetry, Udalguri district president of Viswa Hindu Parishad.  The meeting was presided over by Prasad Sarma, Headmaster of 5 No Dhansiri ME School, while Haliram Basumatary, retired judge attended as a special guest and Rudra Shastri as teacher. The participants of the camp presented their Sanskrit, hymns, songs, dance and a drama at the concluding function.

 Puspa Dhakal, Principal of Uma Maheswar Sanskrit Vidyalaya and Tara Sarma took part in the programme.
