Sapekathi Rape : Accused Mahesh Borgohain arrested

JOYSAGAR: One Mahesh Borgohain, son of Chandrakanta Borgohain of Rohan Dhadumiya gaon under Sapekhati Police Station, was arrested by the police on the charge of raping a minor girl on August 4.

Mahesh also allegedly threatened to kill her if she told anyone about it. But on August 6, the victim told her grandmother everything. Following the FIR lodged by the victim’s father, Sapekhati Police finally arrested the accused.
