Sarania Kachari Development Council distributes aid

lbari, December 15: Dipak Deka , the vice-chairman of Sarania Kachari Development  Council distributed two bundles of tin sheets to 100 poor Sarania Kachari people , five swing machines and a large number of thread bundles to 100 self-help groups  at a public meeting held at Tamulpur in Baksa district recently. Addressing the meeting , Deka said that the State Government had been contributing a lot for the development of Sarania Kachari people by adopting many schemes. He said that the socio-economic condition of Sarania Kachari people was very bad as a result of which this community was lagging behind. He also stressed work culture for the development of the community. Sonbar Baruah, the vice-president of All Assam Sarania Kachari Sanmilani, Prabin Deka, advisor of All Assam Sarania Kachari Students’ Union and Mahendra Rabha , general secretary of Tamulpur Block Congress Committee , among others attended the meeting.
