Saraswati Puja at Lakhipur

Silchar, Feb 5: Saraswati Puja has been celebrated with serenity and devotion by the members of Dibyayan Club, Lakhipur tea estate, last Wednesday. The members were cooperated by Tarzen Thakur, president and Ramjit Goala, secretary of Bipani Student Club. Later, a cultural programme was held and prizes were distributed. Both Ganesh Roy and Sachin Pandey extended their helping hands to make it a success. The idol of Goddess Saraswati was exquisite and it came to no surprise when the Club bagged the first prize for best idol in the entire Lakhipur sub-division.
