Saraswati Puja celebrated in Demow

DEMOW, February 1: Saraswati Puja was celebrated in Demow and its surroundings areas on Wednesday.  Devotees invoked divine blessings for improving learning and honing skills. Students prayed before the Goddess Saraswati. Later young boys and girls came out on the streets to celebrate Saraswati Puja. The students went to their respective educatiol institutions wearing colourful dresses. However, some school students wore their uniform. After the anjali, the prasad was distributed among the students in the educatiol institutions.
