Sarat Borkotoky, five others file papers in Sori

MAHMORA, March 19: State Education Minister Sarat Borkotoky and five other candidates in Sori LAC filed their nomition papers on the last day of filing nomition papers for the forthcoming Assembly elections here on Friday. A massive procession with around 10,000 supporters and Borokotoky  arrived at the Charaideo DC office in Sori amid slogan- shouting by the supporters and submitted his nomition papers. Borkotoky claimed that he will win the Sori seat once again. He also claimed that Congress will get absolute majority to form the next Government in the State. On the other hand, in Mahmora constituency as many as four candidates including Suraj Dihingia of Congress filed their nomition papers on Friday.
