Sarkar Aapke Dwar in remote village in Tawang

Itanagar: The 25th round of Sarkar Aapke Dwar was conducted on Monday at Khirmu village in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh which was inaugurated by Extra Assistant Commissioner Dochora Lama. Lama in his address congratulated the villagers for keeping their village neat and clean and also informed that the district has been ranked sixth in rural sanitation in the country, which he termed it as a matter of pride for the people. He also appealed to the villagers to make cleanliness a habit to stay healthy. Lama further informed that district administration has been conferred with the gold medal by the State Government for its sincere efforts in delivering services to the villagers of far flung areas of the district.

He requested the villagers and especially the gaon burahs to cross check and verify the applicants for ST/PRC and raise objection then and there to avoid future problems.

Lama also felicitated the school toppers of primary and upper primary schools of Khirmu.

Lama along with other heads of department later inspected the village. Altogether 45 government departments took part in this camp which has benefited around 1,200 villagers, an official communiqué informed.
