GUWAHATI, Dec 28: Saroj Medhi of Pragjyotish Weekly bagged the title in the inter media chess tourment which was held at the Gauhati Town Club Auditorium today. Ibobi Singh of Manipur and Debashish Sinha from Assam Tribune finished as first and second runners up respectively in the competition.
Harendra th Barua Inter media football tourment got under way at the SAI sports complex here today. Rajib Prakash Baruah, Additiol Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (M), iugurated the meet where altogether 18 teams are taking part this year. Pratidin Times, DY365, Jasadharan, Assam Tribune and Ga Adhikar won their respective matches today and advanced into the next round of the tourment. The fil will be held on Wednesday.
