Sasi Kumar lifts Men’s singles title in Futures tennis

GUWAHATI, Mar 4: Sasi Kumar Mukund of India lifted the ITF Men’s Futures tennis title defeating Sami Reinwein of Germany in a well contested fil held at the AATA Tennis complex here today. The match was 1-1 at the end of the second sets but Mukund made a good come back in the game and won the clash by 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Siddhartha Bhattacharrya, MLA of East Guwahati Constituency, as a chief guest and he also distributed the awards.  Among other present in the award ceremony functions were Life President of AATA Subhash Chandra Das, AITA Treasurer Raktim Saikia and several office bearers of All Assam Tennis Association.
