Nepali Roy led the singers in the singing of the satsang kirtans. Devi Bhattacharjee and Nilima Deb presented the traditiol songs of the religious sect. the folk verse was presented by Biswadiggo Biswas. The devotiol prayers were led by Biswatosh Biswas. The Satyarusan was recited by Dr Sujit Kumar Biswas in Bengali, Purnima Roy in Hindi and Animita Roy in Hindi. Sisir Kumar Chanda gave a religious discourse on the teachings and ideologies of Thakur Anikul Chandra.

Chanda said Sri Sri Thakur identified four sovereign towers of existence which are education, agriculture, industry and proper marriage. The most striking feature of Sri Sri Thakur’s philosophy of life is his emphasis on compatible marriage system in society for attaining quality and sustaibility in individual and collective life and growth.

Sri Sri Thakur declares, “The earth is full of the agonies of the civilized. My war is a war of services against the foes common to all the poor and the rich, east and west. Have you not the nerves and the pluck to attack the citadels of ignorance and prejudice that brings the disease, disaster, suffering and death?”

Following Sri Sri Thakur means to adopt an ideological framework that invites and spurs all-round well-being of a person along with family and society. Sri Sri Thakur’s ideology is liberal and may be called secular. This is a way, perhaps the only way, to come out of the vicious circle of competitive commulism and religious fundamentalism, which is hitting the world badly.
