Sattriya Cultural Centre observes foundation day

MARGHERITA, Jan 9: Sattriya Cultural Centre, Margherita observed its foundation day in Margherita. The two-day programme started with hoisting of flag by Sattriya Cultural Centre president Amarjeet Das. The last day’s programme was held in Margherita India Club. The programme began with the lightning of lamp by Arati Bora, chairperson of Coal India Mahila Samaj Margherita, where NEC Coal India Limited Margherita General Mager J K Bora and dormer General Mager of NEC Coal India Limited Margherita, A K Bora were present. The members of the Centre performed chorus followed by Gayan Bayan, Guru Banda, Krish dance, Rukmini Haran, one-act dance and drama, and Diha am.
