Save Hahim Campaign launched

Boko, April 26: Hahim Market Operations Committee and Hahim Town Committee launched the Save Hahim Campaign on Wednesday morning. The campaign was flagged off by the president of the committee, Rohin Rabha. After flag off, local people cleaned the market area and slightly repaired the market area road and took measures to prevent erosion of Hahim river. During flash flood in 2014, a vast area was damaged due to erosion. Many shops, houses and bridges were washed away in the flood and every year during the raining season the Hahim area get damaged by river erosion.  Hahim Market Operations Committee and Hahim Town Club jointly organized a public meeting. Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council executive members Sumit Rabha and Sonaram Rabha were also present on the meeting.
