Sayan leads South Point to huge victory

GUWAHATI, Oct 17: In an one sided encounter South Point School today thrashed Gurukul  Grammer School by 192 runs in 6th Sitaram Agarwala Memorial U-16 Cricket tourment held at the Nehru stadium here today. Rode on a brilliant century from Sayan Dey (100) South Point School scored 304-4 in 50 overs. Sayan took 81 balls to score exactly hundred with the help of 13 boundaries and four over boundaries. Manish Kumar Bhagawati (61) and Dhruvraaj Borah (46) too contributed good score on the board. In reply Gurukul  Grammer school bowled out 112 runs. Himjyoti Sarma picked up 3-31 while Aditya Gupta and Mundeep Deb took two wickets each.
