SBI dotes ambulance

GUWAHATI, Aug 24: SBI doted an ambulance to Sri Sri Batadrawa Than Porichala Samity, gaon on Wednesday to provide better transportation facility and better medical facilities to the poor and downtrodden people of the society and people inhabiting in and around Batadrawa, gaon.  Chief General Mager of State Bank of India, NE circle PVSLN Murty has handed over an ambulance to Sri Sri Batadrawa Than Porichala Samity, Alipukhuri, gaon in presence of Additiol Chief Secretary of Assam M G V K Bhanu, General Mager  Om Prakash Mishra, DGMs of SBI Bisweswar Haldar,  Manjit Saikia, General Secretary of Batadrawa Than Brajen Kakati  and many others including bank officials.

Murty expressed his gratitude on his opportunity to speak before a large gathering on the occasion 448th Punyatithi of Guruja Srimanta Shankardeva at Batadrawa, which is known to be birth place of Srimanta Shankardev. He also felt proud of extending ATM facilities at Batadrawa and supporting the communities with a much needed ambulance through Sri Sri Batadrawa Than Porichala Samity. Murty was also present in the opening ceremony of a Book fair, which was iugurated by Deputy Commissioner of gaon Shamsher Singh. General Secretary of Batadrawa Than Brajen Kakati  has urged CGM SBI to start a new branch near the Batadrawa Than considering the socio-economic scerio of the locality, stated a press release.
