SBI dotes materials to city school

GUWAHATI, November 13: The State Bank Of India (SBI) under its Corporate Social Reasobility Scheme doted implements like swings, sea-saw,   rocking teeter, slides, three sets of aquaguard filters, six white marker boards etc to Rajhans Shishu Vidyalaya, Rukminigar, Guwahati, stated a press release.

These items were urgently required by the school for ensuring health and hygiene of the school children and to facilitate imparting education in a better way.

Further the bank also started conducting Fincial Literacy Programme for the School Children in batches to foster fincial inclusion among school children. Quiz competition will be organised at the end of each programme and 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank holders will be awarded prizes/certificates.

P V S L N Murty, Chief General Mager, North-Eastern Circle of State Bank of India handed over the said dotion items to the school authority and iugurated the Fincial Literacy programme in a function organised on November 12 at the school premises.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief General Mager said that as Bank has adopted the School for Fincial Inclusion through State Bank Learning Centre, Guwahati, further aid and support will be provided in future. He inspired the school children to foster cleanliness in and around their environment. He also encouraged the School Children to inculcate the habit of savings and open Bank Accounts under schemes like Pehla Kadam Pehli Udaan, Sukanya Samriddhi etc to ensure better future and bright career.

Sanjay Srivastava, Deputy General Mager, Business & Operations, Guwahati along with other Senior Executives from State Bank of India and School Teachers, Guardians and Students were present in the function.
