SBI dotes medical equipments to Shishu Sarothi

Guwahati, April 30: North Eastern Circle of State Bank of India observes its 36th Foundation Day on April 29 by doting an Ultra Sound Therapy Machine & one Electrical Muscle Stimulator to Shishu Sarothi (Centre for Rehabilitation & Training for Multiple Disability, a press release said. The equipments are beneficial for the differently able children of Day Care Centre.

Pan Lal Das, General Mager, Kaushik Sinha, Circle Development Officer, State Bank of India, North Eastern Circle jointly handed over the equipments to the authority of Shishu Sarothi in presence of Aman Ali, Executive Director and children, faculties of Shishu Sarothi.

Addressing the gathering at rehabilitation centre, Das said that the State Bank of India has always played a pivotal role as a socially responsive corporate organization in contributing towards numerous initiatives in social sector. Besides its normal banking activities, it directly extends help by way of dotion to benevolent and charitable organisations as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The GM appreciated the noble and dedicated services rendered by Shishu Sarothi in the field of Education & Training, Vocatiol Training for youth with disabilities, Education of children with special needs, etc.
