SBI dotes Rs 2 crore to Mary Kom Regiol Boxing Foundation

Shillong, Jan 23: State Bank of India, the largest bank of the country today, dotes an amount of Rs 2 crore to Mary Kom Regiol Boxing Foundation, Manipur and a TATA school bus to Auxilium Umpohliew Jingstad, Nongpoh under the bank’s scheme of Corporate Social Responsibility.

The dotions were handed over by Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman of SBI who was on an official visit to Shillong. SBI Chairman said that the bank is very happy to be associated with persons and institutions who have been rendering yeomen services for the betterment of the less fortute and assured that more of such welfare activities will be taken up in the North East in the future.
